Where It All Began

Josh developed an interest in racing from a very early age. Having grown up in a small Victorian country town called Berriwillock, Josh coincidentally lived next door to champion Melbourne Cup winning trainer Darren Weir.  Along with football, horse racing was not only a passion, but a way of life in the small Mallee community.

His dream of becoming a Bloodstock Agent was soon realised.

In order to enhance his career in this field, Josh moved to Singapore, where a large part of his Bloodstock business relied on countless hours analysing horses. The most effective way to do this was to watch endless amounts of trials, jumpouts and races in Australia, with a strong focus on young horses coming out of Victoria.

Success came quickly as his eye for detail was met with patience. He immediately began purchasing young horses, both unraced and also tried, with his motto being quality over quantity. Josh has purchased multiple Group and Stakes winners and performers in Singapore, along with purchase and breeding of Stakes performed horses in both Australia and Hong Kong.

In most recent times, one of Josh’s most exciting purchases was that of newly crowned Champion 3YO of Singapore, ‘Golden Monkey,’ who races under the JIG RACING banner.

Since Josh’s passion has gone from hobby to career, his analysis and tips have been highly sought after, attracting a large following online. His tipping results are second to none and his race analysis and betting strategies have seen demand grow to the point that the only way to share his betting experience effectively is through an App. Hence, Jig Racing was born
